Should I repair a fridge or replace it?
Depends on the failure and the age. Fans, heaters, thermostats, gaskets, and boards are routine repairs. Sealed system and compressor work on a very old unit is a bigger conversation. We tell you honestly what we find.
Why is my refrigerator freezing lettuce and eggs?
Usually a damper or thermostat sending too much cold air into the fresh food side, or a sensor reading wrong. Sometimes it's just food pressed against a vent. We check the airflow path and the control before replacing parts.
Can hard water really damage an ice maker?
